The Williams’ dynasty has published the funeral arrangement for their matriarch, Mrs. Florence Modupe Williams.

Eko Hot Blog reports that the illustrious and fulfilled life of Madam Modupe William, fondly called Maami, came to a happy end on 13th October, 2022, after a brief illness.
Born on the 1st of July, 1936, into the family of Oyerinde, Madam Modupe Williams enjoyed longevity and health while leading her exemplary and impactful life dedicated to advancing the cause of humanity. She died a nonagenarian of 91 years.
In an interview with Eko Hot Blog, Mrs. Bummi Oguntade, on behalf of the family, referred to Madam William’s death as a monumental and irreparable loss to the family and to a host of others who had been at the receiving end of her goodwill for the nine decades of her existence.
“Maami was the cord, the string, the fulcrum, and the spiritual strength of the family. Her devotion to her children, grandchildren, and in-laws was unparalleled.
The spirit of love, altruism, and selflessness that defined her life would continue to be a legacy she will be remembered for,” Mrs. Oguntade said.
The celebration of the Late Mrs. Williams’ life will span two continents – Africa and North America, her cradle of life and her domicile, respectively.
According to Mrs. Oguntade, the celebration on the African continent will commence with a Christian wake for the Late Mrs. Williams on 19th January 2023, at the Christ Anglican Church Hall, 10 Okuta Road, beside Faith Plaza, Bariga, Lagos, by 4 pm.
Eko Hot Blog gathered that a funeral service will follow by 9 a.m. on 20th January 2023 at the Ikoyi Baptist Church, 5/7 Lateef Jakande Street, Ikoyi.
Mama Williams’ remains will be interred exclusively by family members at the Ikoyi Cemetery immediately after the service.
This will be followed by a reception of guests at the Admiralty Hall, Naval Dockyard, beside NTA Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island, Lagos, at 2 pm.
Whereas the celebration in North America will be at the Christ Apostolic Church, 612 East 2nd Street, Irving, Texas, USA, on Sunday, January 8th, 2023, with the reception of guests at the Pioneer Event Center, 1025, West Pioneer Pkway Grand Prairie Texas 75051
