Gov. Peter Obi Reacts To Alleged Purchase Of N650 Million Mansion
Former Anambra State governor, Peter Obi, has denied reports of buying a N650 million mansion in Enugu.
A Twitter user had claimed Peter Obi, who was also the vice-presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, purchased a mansion in the Coal City-state.
Taking to Twitter to deny the report, Obi said he doesn’t need a house outside Anambra. He added that he was committed to building hospitals and schools instead of buying himself a house.
Peter Obi tweeted “Contrary to the reports on social media, I didn’t buy any house in Enugu or elsewhere. I do not need a house outside of Anambra for now, and I am committed to living in my house in Onitsha”.
