The Governor of Bauchi State, Gov. Bala Mohammed, yesterday apologize for his statement last week, Eko hot blog gathered.
The Governor in a meeting with fellow PDP members, in his speech said “I want to use this opportunity to apologize to my various constituencies, especially the national assembly, if what I said ‘the truth’ has injured their sensibilities or it has touched on their privilege, as we use to say in parliamentary palace. I was doing it out of the streak of nationalism and patriotism.

As same time the Governors, if they feel that what I said was also injurious to them, I apologize to them and feel sorry for them and indeed all Nigerians”.
He ended his apology by saying “but certainly as I said, my brother, I have no apology for saying the truth, but certainly sometimes you will say the truth and it will be injurious.”
Recall, last week Gov. Bala Mohammed made a statement about allowing Fulani herders to carry AK-47 guns, this was a serious controversial statement that led to a lot of reaction even from the Governor of Benue State, Gov. Ortom, who asked him to apologize.
