Job Description
- We are currently looking for a suitable candidate for the Head, Reservoir Engineering role for our client at their head office in Lagos.
Requirements
- Must have a degree in Petroleum Engineering Discipline (preferably up to a Masters Level or MBA).
- Degree in Engineering preferably in Reservoir/Petroleum Engineering/Geosciences. Master’s Degree or equivalent will be an added advantage.
- More than 15 years of working experience in the upstream Oil and Gas industry as Head Engineering.
- Technically skill in the technology inventory of Reservoir Rock & Fluid Characterisation, Well Test Design and Pressure Transient Analysis, Well Performance and Production Operation, Reservoir Performance and Resource Estimation, Reservoir Modelling and Simulation, and Depletion Strategy and Drive Mechanism.
- Performs scouting of exploration activities in the region.
- Preparation of exploration activity plans and budget.
- Collect and evaluate regional geological and geophysical data and information.
- Interpretation of seismic data.
- Prospect generation.
- Post drill analysis and evaluation.
- Knowledge of Reservoir Surveillance, Field Development Plan, Operational Geology and Log Interpretation.
- Possess strong analytical skills and effectively communicate technical data. Ability to interact effectively in a diverse team environment, especially in a multinational environment.
- Possess good written and spoken English, strong interpersonal skills and a team player.
