The tragic death of Salome Eleojo Adaidu, a 24-year-old graduate of Kogi State University, has sent shockwaves across Nigeria.

Salome, a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member who was set to complete her service in March 2025, was found beheaded under mysterious circumstances in Nasarawa State.

Close friend Abigail Simon, shared harrowing details of Salome’s final moments.

“She was last seen on Saturday evening at her residence in Nyanya, Abuja,” Simon recounted.

The next day, the family received a distressing call, claiming Salome had been in a critical accident.

Salome’s elder sister rushed to the scene, but the grim reality was far worse.

“When I called her sister for an update, she told me Salome was gone,” Simon tearfully revealed.

The family remains in shock, grappling with the unimaginable loss.

Details surrounding Salome’s death remain shrouded in mystery.

Reports link her death to a man whose identity and relationship to Salome are unclear.

Simon stressed that the family had no prior knowledge of this individual.

“We have never met or heard of him. Salome had no relationship with him,” she affirmed.

Salome’s tragic demise adds to the grief of her family, who lost her father in May 2024.

Her mother, already struggling with emotional trauma, is now devastated by this unspeakable loss.
