Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), reaffirmed his loyalty to President Bola Tinubu.
Wike said he believes in Tinubu’s leadership and his respect for the president, whom he views as a father figure.
Wike made these statements during an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today and monitored by EKO HOT BLOG.
The minister criticized Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara, for allegedly exploiting the presidential intervention to insult others.

Wike said, “I have always believed in President Tinubu’s capacity. I never had any conditions or bargains before supporting him. My loyalty is to Mr. President, and I have never hidden my intentions.
“When the President calls, even if there are things I might not have accepted, I recognize that he is the leader of our country and a respected elder. When he appointed me, it was not something I could refuse.”
Wike accused Fubara of using the president’s intervention as an opportunity to undermine others, saying, “The governor took advantage of the presidential intervention and used it to insult everyone. I’m not someone who can be manipulated; my loyalty is firmly with Mr. President.”
