Hon. Ogunkelu Sylvester Empowers Youths with Free JAMB Lessons in Eredo and Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDAs

Hon. Ogunkelu Sylvester, the Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Epe Constituency II, has organized free JAMB preparatory lessons for students in Eredo and Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs).
Ekohotblog gathers that this initiative is part of his ongoing commitment to youth empowerment and academic excellence, complementing the distribution of 850 JAMB forms to youths in the two communities.

The program, which commenced on February 5th and will run until April 4th, 2025, is being held at two strategic venues: St. Patrick’s Grammar School in Eredo LCDA and Agbowa LG Primary School in Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA.
The lessons are scheduled from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM daily, ensuring that students receive quality preparation for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Speaking on the initiative, Hon. Ogunkelu emphasized his commitment to youth development through education.
He stated, “Education is the foundation of progress and success. By organizing these free JAMB lessons, we are investing in the future of our community and giving our youths the tools they need to excel academically and reach their full potential.”
He further noted that the initiative goes beyond distributing JAMB forms, aiming to provide comprehensive support to students.
“Our objective is not just to give out forms but to prepare our students adequately for the exams.
This program is designed to build their confidence and enhance their performance, ensuring they are fully equipped to secure admission into tertiary institutions,” he added.
Parents and students in the community have lauded the initiative, describing it as a timely intervention that relieves them of the financial burden of private coaching.
A parent, expressed her gratitude, saying, “This program is a huge relief for many of us. It gives our children access to quality tutoring without the financial strain. We truly appreciate Hon. Ogunkelu’s commitment to the education of our children.”
