Speaking to a large congregation, the 24-year-old recalled how she once hawked items like Olive oil, Kunu, and Zobo drinks within church premises during various deliverance services before rising to national and international prominence in football.
“Back then, I was just a young girl following my parents to church, helping to sell what we had, Olive oil, Zobo, and Kunu. That was my reality. But through prayer, fasting, and persistent hard work, God changed my story,” she said.
Ajibade, who was named Player of the Tournament at the last WAFCON, despite scoring only one goal, emphasized that spiritual discipline continues to guide her career.

“Whenever I’m facing tough times with my club or the national team, I go on my knees. I don’t just rely on training. I pray and fast too,” she added, encouraging the youth not to give up on their dreams.
“Keep praying, keep fasting, keep working hard. God still answers prayers,” she said with conviction.
