Controversial Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has apologised to the Theater Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners of Nigeria (TAMPAN) and its president, Bolaji Amusan, popularly known as Mr. Latin, following her suspension from the film industry.
EKO HOT BLOG recalls that in 2021, Nkechi Blessing became embroiled in a social media feud with fellow actor Lege Miami after she openly criticised Nollywood actor Baba Ijesha for allegedly defiling the foster daughter of Nigerian comedienne Princess.

Nkechi’s outburst was triggered by Lege Miami’s perceived sympathy toward Baba Ijesha, who was accused of sexual assault against a minor at that time.
TAMPAN condemned the online conflict between the actors and subsequently suspended both from appearing in Yoruba movie productions indefinitely.
While Lege Miami expressed remorse and issued an apology, Nkechi Blessing initially dismissed TAMPAN’s suspension notice, calling it a bluff.
However, at The Celebrities Entertainment Award in Canada, Nkechi publicly apologized for her actions, kneeling before TAMPAN officials and pleading for forgiveness.
She expressed her regret, stating that she deeply missed being part of the industry.
