‘I Was Slapped Three Times’ – Bolt Driver Reveals Details of Assault by Rep Alex Ikwechegh
The Bolt driver who was slapped by Alex Ikwechegh, the lawmaker representing Aba North and South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has shared his side of the story regarding the viral video.
In a subsequent video, the driver recounted that Ikwechegh hit him three times and tore his clothes. He explained that the assault occurred simply because he asked the lawmaker to come out and receive his delivery.
“I just received three slaps, and my clothes were shredded into pieces by this man who claims to be a House of Reps member,” the driver stated.

Earlier reports EKO HOT BLOG indicated that Ikwechegh deemed the driver’s request disrespectful due to his social status and threatened to make him “disappear” without repercussions.

When the driver asked for the delivery fee, the lawmaker slapped him repeatedly, questioning whether he understood who he was dealing with.
Noticing he was being recorded, Ikwechegh challenged the driver to film him properly and to call the Inspector General of Police.
He boasted, “I can make you disappear in the whole of Nigeria, and nothing will happen. Do you know who I am? I am a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and I can lock you up in my generator house, and nothing will happen.”
