After initially joining PSG on loan from Monaco on August 31, 2017, Kylian Mbappe’s move became permanent on July 1, 2018, when the French giants paid a staggering €180 million.
Since then, the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner has dominated the field, showcasing an unstoppable prowess in scoring goals.
However, despite numerous efforts, Mbappe has yet to secure the UEFA Champions League title for PSG.
His desire to join a club capable of clinching the trophy has fueled strong speculation over the past three summer transfer windows.
With Real Madrid emerging as a prominent suitor.
Reports suggest that PSG consistently rebuffed Real Madrid’s pursuits until last summer.
When Mbappe declared his commitment to remain with PSG until the conclusion of his current contract on June 30, 2024.
Recall that in In 2022, Mbappe inked a two-year deal with PSG, including an option for a one-year extension.
Despite this, he declined to sign the contract extension, leading PSG to banish him from the club’s first team.
Meanwhile, despite PSG’s persistent efforts to extend his contract, the 25-year-old striker stood firm, ultimately announcing his departure from the club at the season’s end.

“I’ve always said that I would speak with you when the time comes,” Mbappe said.
“It’s my last year at Paris St-Germain. I will not extend, and the adventure will come to an end in a few weeks.”
