- Sunday Igboho has stormed Igangan, Oyo State, over the recent attacks in the community.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that popular Yoruba rights activist, Sunday Adeyemo well known as Sunday Igboho, has stormed Igangan in Ibarapa North Local Government Area of Oyo State.
Igboho arrived Igangan on Monday evening following the weekend’s attacks by suspected Fulani herdsmen in the community.
It would be recalled that the suspected Fulani herdsmen attacked the community on Sunday and killed 15 residents, while several houses, including the Palace of Ashi of Igangan were razed by the assailants.

However, Igboho, who gained prominence following an ultimatum he issued to criminal herdsmen in the South-West, stormed the town in a convoy with many residents cheering.
In a viral video, the rights activist was seen waving to the residents of Igangan from a white Toyota Hilux while his supporters escorted him into the community with their motorbikes.
Igboho’s spokesman, Olayomi Koiki, further stated that the rights activist combed the forests during his visit to the town.
He added that the visit of Sunday Igboho was to assess the level of destruction witnessed in Igangan and to also relate with the residents.
