I’ll Support Any Candidate Who Emerges- Uche Nwosu
Imo state Governorship candidate of the Action Alliance(AA) in 2019 general elections, Uche Nwosu, has said that he would support any candidate who emerges winner at the Supreme Court.
Nwosu, who spoke to newsmen at Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport, Owerri, said that he had put behind him the recent Supreme Court judgment which disqualified him from the state’s governorship race on account of dual nominations by the Action Alliance and All Progressives Congress.
Nwosu, a son-in-law to the former governor of the state, Rochas Okorocha, said that his major interest was for the people of the state to have access to quality leadership and dividends of democracy, noting that he would support any of the candidates who is adjudged winner of the election by the apex court.
Imo State incumbent governor and PDP candidate, Emeka Ihedioha; APC candidate, Senator Hope Uzodinma; and All Progressives Grand Alliance candidate, Senator Ifeanyi Araraume, are awaiting verdict of the apex court.
Nwosu said: “I have kept all that happened over my governorship pursuit behind me and I have decided to move on with life since God is alive.

“I have forgiven all those who ganged up against me in my earnest desire to serve Imo people as their governor. I have no regrets in politics, especially as it concerns my contest for the governorship of the state.
“I will support any of the candidates who wins the final judgement at the Supreme Court on the Imo governorship election, be it Senator Ifeanyi Araraume, Senator Hope Uzodinma or Chief Emeka lhedioha.
“Politics is not a do-or-die affair, but a matter of give-and-take.
“What APC in the state needs now is for all the stakeholders to come together for the sake of the party,” Nwosu stated.
