Indrive Driver, Actress Adunni Ade Clash Over Stolen Package
Francis Njoku, an Indrive cab driver accused of stealing a package, is threatening to sue actress Adunni Ade.
The conflict arose when Njoku allegedly refused to deliver Adunni’s package after completing the trip. In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Adunni called out the ride-hailing service, claiming that the driver took off with her package and ignored her calls.
“@indrive.ng I have contacted you for hours with no response. One of your drivers has stolen my package. He ended the trip before reaching me and isn’t picking up calls,” she wrote.
Her post sparked outrage, with many users criticizing the company.

In a follow-up, Adunni revealed that Njoku eventually delivered the package after the company locked his profile. She shared screenshots of conversations between herself, Njoku, and her fashion designer, who sent the package.

In the messages, Njoku accused Adunni of damaging his reputation and threatened legal action: “You have tarnished my image. I have contacted my legal team and will see you in court. You must issue an unreserved apology and ask Instablog to take down the post.”

In response, Adunni defended her stance: “One thing about me is I don’t lie or cheat my fellow beings. When we speak of change, let it start with you. In my entire adult life of using logistics services, I have never encountered anyone as rude and entitled as Francis Njoku.”
