Ejiogu clarified that the news alleging the release of candidate names is both inaccurate and misleading.
He stressed that, in accordance with the Commission’s constitutional guidelines and regulations, a list of candidates from all registered parties will only be released after the mandatory validation of their personal details as required by law.
The ISIEC Chairman has instructed all participating political parties, their candidates, and the public to ignore the false report, which he condemned as a blatant and disgraceful fabrication.
