The youth of Itoikin, the hometown of the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, Otunba-Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, have publicly declared their strong support for his re-election bid, praising his commendable leadership and numerous achievements in office.
Ekohotblog reports that at a strategic gathering held in Itoikin, branded materials such as T-shirts, caps, and banners were displayed as a symbol of their loyalty and endorsement.
Speaking at the event, the youth leadership emphasized that their support for Anomo is not driven by sentiment or nepotism but by his proven track record of service and developmental strides.
“We are not supporting Anomo because he is from Itoikin; we are backing him because he has demonstrated visionary leadership, transparency, and a deep commitment to the growth of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA,” said , a youth leader in the community.
“His impact is felt in every sector—education, infrastructure, social welfare, and economic empowerment. We believe another term will allow him to do even more.”
The youth highlighted Anomo’s numerous projects, including the construction of roads, market rehabilitation, provision of educational materials for students, and youth empowerment initiatives.
They described him as a “true ambassador of the community” whose leadership has transformed the landscape of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA.
Echoing their stance, Miss Adeola , a young entrepreneur, praised the Chairman’s efforts in supporting small businesses.
“Through his administration, many of us have received grants and skill acquisition opportunities. He is a leader who genuinely cares about the youth,” she stated.
The gathering was attended by political actors, community elders, and clerics, all of whom commended the youth for their initiative.
Speaking on behalf of the elders,a Chief noted “Anomo has not only made Itoikin proud but has uplifted Ikosi-Ejinrin as a whole. We bless and support his ambition for a second term.”
In response to the overwhelming endorsement, Otunba Wale Raji Anomo expressed his gratitude, reaffirming his dedication to the continued progress of the LCDA.
“I am deeply humbled by this show of love and confidence. I promise to remain steadfast in delivering more impactful projects, promoting unity, and ensuring that Ikosi-Ejinrin reaches greater heights,” he assured.
The event concluded with prayers from religious leaders and renewed calls for all stakeholders, political figures, and residents to support Anomo’s second-term bid.
