The Jamat Imaan Al-Hikram Muslim Mission is a national Islamic society established to promote and propagate Islam, goodwill, and humanity through donation outreach and life-changing Islamic lectures, as well as promoting the teachings of the Holy Quran and lessons of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W).

Maulid Nabiy is a special time for Muslims across the world to celebrate, reflect on, and honor the birth of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) in remembrance of his life and teachings, strengthen faith, and promote peace and unity.
The celebration also helps to foster brotherhood through prayer, charity, public feasts, parades, and cultural festivities, a significant moment for faithful Muslims to remember and emulate the Prophet’s qualities and become better individuals for society.

In the spirit of celebration and remembrance of the great deeds of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W), JIAMM hosted esteemed members and Islamic scholars to learn and reflect on the virtues of Islam.
The event held at Paddington Mini Stadium pooled a crowd of devoted Muslims within and beyond the Surulere community, as JIAMM’s members from far and wide were in attendance to mark the grand occasion.

The Chief Host, Seyyid Aenu Ramat (A.A.), the Leader of JIAMM as well as the coordinator of JIAMM-Surulere branch, Alhaji Abdullateef Ladeji, welcomed the highly esteemed guest lecturer for the day, Sheikh Dr. Abdullahi Araokanmi Alminteeq (A.A).
The colorful event featured brilliant Quranic recitations by JIAMM’s young Islamic scholars, capped off with a powerful spoken-word presentation on patience in trying times, delivered in Arabic, English, and Yoruba dialects simultaneously by JIAMM Surulere’s brilliant Arabic pupils.

Sheikh Dr. Abdullahi Araokanmi Alminteeq’s (A.A.) message on the central theme of the occasion—”Trustworthiness: a forgotten trait of the believer”—was a resounding lecture.
Sheikh Araokanmi stressed the importance of staying truthful, devoted, and committed to the virtues of Islam, in deeds and in truth, noting that trustworthiness is one of the greatest virtues that attracts Allah’s favour.

He stressed that in today’s society, it’s hard to find trustworthy people due to moral decadence and greed, while imploring faithful Muslims to always be good models of the virtues of Islam in all they do.

In closing, JIAAM Coordinator of Surulere branch, Alhaji Abdullateef Ladeji, encouraged the Muslim community to live an exemplary life, particularly to uphold truthfulness and trustworthiness, which are the hallmarks of a true believer.
