Jonah Jang Absent As Atiku Takes Presidential Campaign To Plateau
Jonah Jang was absent from Atiku’s Presidential Campaign in Jos.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar on Tuesday took his campaign train to Jos, Plateau State.
Speaking at the presidential campaign rally which took place at the Rwang Pam Township Stadium in Jos, Plateau State, Atiku urged the people to vote for him in 2023 and enjoy better developments.

He promised to rehabilitate the roads in the state, revamp the economy, and ensure peace reigns in the state.
However, the former Governor of the state, Jonah Jang was visibly absent at the event which had many PDP chieftains in attendance.
It is understood that Jang travelled abroad for medical treatment hence his absence at the rally.
This platform reports that Jang is part of the Governor Nyesom Wike camp who have insisted on the resignation of the PDP national chairman, Iyorchia Ayu as the only condition to support Atiku’s 2023 presidential bid.
Recall that Jang had in the wake of the PDP crisis, told Atiku to beg Wike if he wants to win the 2023 presidential election.
Addressing the supporters at the stadium, the PDP candidate who arrived at the stadium at about 2.03pm, said Plateau is like a homecoming for him.
Atiku said, “For the people of Plateau, it is a homecoming for me because I have been a resident of this state for the past 20 years. All roads connecting the Plateau to other states have been neglected by the APC.
We will rehabilitate all the roads and revamp the economy of the state.”

The former Vice President added that if elected, “We will make sure that this state is connected as far as infrastructure is concerned. I will restore peace and prosperity.”
