Adebule has won the senate race in Lagos West.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the Lagos West senatorial candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Idiat Adebule, has won the contest in the district.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the APC candidate the winner on Monday evening.
According to the Collation Officer, Prof Solomon Akinboye, Adebule polled 361,296 votes to defeat her closest challenger, Segun Adewale of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) who got 248,653 votes.
Adebule is a former deputy governor of Lagos State.
She started her political career as Commissioner 1 in the Lagos State Post Primary Teaching Service Commission (PP-TESCOM), now Teachers’ Establishment and Pensions Office, in 2000. She remained in the position till February 2005.
The senator-elect was a board member of the Lagos State Scholarship Board from February 2005 to November 2005.
Adebule was appointed and sworn in as the Secretary to the State Government by the then Governor of Lagos state, Mr Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) in July 2011.
