The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control late Monday announced four new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) to bring to total cases in Nigeria to 40.
Ekohotblog reports that NCDC made the announcement via its verified Twitter handle @ NCDCgov, three are in Lagos State and one in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

Two of these cases are returning travellers

Two of these cases are persons who returned to Nigeria from overseas, NCDC said.
Subsequently, the state -by – state cases of the contagion is as follows :
Lagos – 28
FCT- 7
Ogun- 2
Ekiti – 1
Oyo- 1
Edo – 1
Total : 40 confirmed cases
Meanwhile, this online news platform earlier reported that the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 had on Monday announced the closure of all land borders into the country for four weeks in a bid to curtail the spread of Coronavirus.
The federal government also suspended the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting until further notice.
