YABATECH student has been shot dead on campus

EKO HOT BLOG reports that a student of Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) Akoka, Lagos mainland, has been shot dead

He was shot in the head around 10pm yesterday.

It was learnt that he was killed in front of Art complex.

A student of the institution said the guy was the second person murdered during this semester

Another student said a female student also sustained gun shot and has been rushed to the hospital.

The victim with dreadlocks hairstyle wore a sky blue Jean and a black top. He was seen in in pool of blood.

The Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer Benjamin Hundeyin, a Superintendent of Police (SP), confirmed the killing.

“I just spoke with the Divisional Police Officer (DPO). It is confirmed. A man was killed. We’ll notify you once we get further information,” he said.
