- Residents were thrown into panic on Monday as an explosion rocked Adamawa State.
EKOHOTBLOG reports that an explosion was recorded in Adamawa State as a fuel tanker exploded in the early hours of Monday.
It was gathered that the explosion occurred at the busy PZ Roundabout along Airport Road, Yola the Adamawa State capital.
It was gathered that the fuel compartment of the tanker with registration number YLA 23 XM, owned by Conoil, detached and fell while the driver was negotiating the roundabout.

However, it could not be ascertained whether lives were lost in the inferno on Monday.
It was gathered that vehicles and shops were razed by the explosion.
EKOHOTBLOG reports that a combined team of firefighters from Adamawa State and Federal Fire Services, Air Force, and Faro bottling company were seen working to put out the fire as of the time of filing this report.
