Nigerian filmmaker Kemi Adetiba opens up about her continued struggle with fibroids. She shares details about her health journey shedding light on the challenges she has faced.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the award winning movie maker has spoken publicly about her struggles with fibroids as she reveals that she might need a third surgery.

The filmmaker expressed candidly about the sadness she feels while dealing with fibroids in response to a post made by actress Ini Dima Okojie on her post on Instagram who demanded a cure for fibroids.
Kemi commented, ” I ‘ve had surgery twice for this already, and now it seems I might need a third. Sigh”
The ace producer first shared her journey with fibroids on Instagram in 2015 when she posted ” I battled with an extreme case of fibroids in secret for many years. When I say extreme, I mean extreme. From being rushed to ER where the intense pain wouldn’t let me cry, to being dangerously close to death.
Fans online offered their support to both Kemi and Ini sending prayers and also discussing about their journey with fibroids while commenting ” Overwhelmed and traumatized, yet still trusting God and the process. It is well. We will be fine”

Kemi has received several recognitions for her acclaimed movie projects including her latest Netflix hit series ” To Kill a Monkey” which premiered on the 18th of July. She has released several blockbusters such as King of Boys, The Wedding Party amongst others.
