Eko Hot Blog reports that the Supreme Court on Monday dismissed an appeal by Senator Smart Adeyemi challenging the nomination of Usman Ahmed Ododo as the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the November 11 gubernatorial election in Kogi State.
The apex court in a judgment delivered by Justice Emmanuel Akomaye Agim imposed a fine of N2 million on Adeyemi for filing what it described as a frivolous and vexatious suit.
