Kwankwaso gave the commendation when he received the party’s state chairmen and members of the National Executive Committee (NEC) at his Abuja residence on Tuesday.
He wrote: “Earlier today, I received all state party chairmen of our party, the NNPP, alongside other top officials of the party, on a homage at my residence in Abuja. I’m thankful for the visit. And I commend them for their continued efforts in upholding the party’s principles.”
This online media platform reports that this comes after a group led by a founding party member, Boniface Aniebonam and the National Publicity Secretary, Agbo Major, suspended Kwankwaso at a Special General Assembly held in Lagos State on Tuesday.
The group alleged that material evidence in public showed that the former Kano State governor was involved in ‘’anti-party activities and was meeting with other presidential candidates.
