The Executive Secretary, Domestic and S3xual Violence Agency, Mrs. Lola Vivour-Adeniyi, spoke during the campaign, saying it was expedient to change the social construct by breaking gender stereotypes that further promote, consciously or unconsciously, the menace of S3xual and Gender-Based Violence in the State.
She disclosed that the Agency has received over 4000 complaints relating to cases of s3xual and gender-based violence within and outside the State, noting that the aim of the initiative was to educate the general public, particularly male adults, on gender roles.
The Babaloja-General, Alhaji Abiodun Kosoko and Iyaloja-General, Chief (Mrs.) Funmilayo Alabi George of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, expressed gratitude to the State Government for bringing the initiative to traders at the market.
