The Lagos State Government has announced a traffic advisory ahead of planned repair works on the Adeniji Adele Interchange Junction to CMS, scheduled to commence on Sunday, October 12, and run through Sunday, November 23, 2025, a period of six weeks.
According to the government, Eko Hot Blog reports the repairs will take place daily between 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., with only one lane closed at a time to minimise disruptions while other lanes remain open to traffic.

The Commissioner for Transportation, Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi, assured motorists that traffic management personnel will be deployed to the area throughout the duration of the project to ease movement and reduce inconvenience.

He urged all motorists to obey traffic officers and road signs to ensure a smooth flow of vehicles and the safety of all road users.
The government also appealed for patience and cooperation, noting that the lane diversions are part of a traffic management plan to support the Federal Ministry of Works during the rehabilitation exercise.
