Eko Hot Blog reports that the Lagos State Government has apprehended 10 individuals posing as enforcement officials in the Cele/Itire axis of the state.
The suspects, identified as Ojo Oluwaseun, Rafiu Agbabiaka, Babatunde Ibrahim, Abiodun Olusegun, Daniel Olanrewaju, Aweda Kabiru, Olufowobi Michael, Olamilekan Olasupo, Bunmi James, and Iyiola Shola (female), were carrying out unauthorized enforcement exercises with different fake ID cards.

The arrest was made on Friday in response to complaints registered at the Ministry of Transportation by concerned citizens. The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr. Olawale Musa, revealed that the individuals apprehended are not members of staff of the Ministry and will soon be charged to court.
Musa stated that the tow trucks, identification cards, and other equipment owned by the suspects have been confiscated by the State Government. He urged members of the public to report any illegal activities to the Ministry of Transportation through its designated phone lines: 09020004000 or 09020009000.

The Lagos State Government has reiterated its commitment to maintaining law and order and has warned against individuals or groups carrying out unauthorized enforcement activities. Residents are advised to be vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities.
