Lagos State Government has devised a multifaceted traffic management strategy to ensure seamless traffic flow along the Lekki-Ajah corridor.
Special Adviser to the Governor on Transportation, Hon. Sola Giwa, announced that LASTMA personnel will be deployed to regulate traffic and prevent disruptions.
Hon. Giwa reassured residents and commuters that thorough preparations have been made, emphasizing the importance of strict adherence to traffic regulations by tanker operators.
“In collaboration with relevant stakeholders, LASTMA has mobilized advanced tow trucks and emergency response equipment to promptly address potential traffic disruptions. Medical ambulance services are also on high alert,” he said.
The state government will rigorously enforce traffic regulations to prevent disruptions and ensure orderly traffic flow.

Hon. Giwa cautioned commercial bus operators to comply with traffic laws, refrain from picking up or dropping passengers at undesignated bus stops, and observe all road signs and traffic signals.
He reiterated the state government’s commitment to safeguarding citizens’ welfare and maintaining an efficient transportation system.
“Strict adherence to all stipulated regulations will ensure a harmonious and efficient transportation system,” he emphasized.
