During the ‘2025 EU Study in Europe Fair’ held at the Federal Palace Hotel, Ikoyi, Lagos, the Honourable Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Tolani Sule, reaffirmed the Lagos State Government’s dedication to providing top-notch education for its citizens.

The Commissioner emphasised the importance of international collaboration and exchange programmes in promoting quality education. “We are committed to providing our students with access to quality education, both locally and internationally. Our partnership with the European Union is a testament to the current administration’s dedication to excellence in education”, Sule said.

These initiatives include the EKO Digital Skills Programme and the Job Initiative Lagos, which focus on developing essential digital, entrepreneurial, and job readiness skills among students.

Ambassador Gautier Mignot, the European Union Ambassador to Nigeria and ECOWAS, urged students to pursue educational opportunities at European Union universities to enrich their knowledge.
He noted that many Nigerian students have already taken advantage of these opportunities.
The European Union Students Fair is an integral part of the EU’s commitment to promoting educational collaboration and exchange between Nigeria and Europe.
