LASG Seeks Support OF Community Over Road Reconstrution

Lagos State Government has sought the cooperation of the residents of Fadipe Street in Somolu Local Government Area for the smooth commencement of the reconstruction of the road.

Commissioner for Physical & Urban Development, Dr Idris Salako said this at the Stakeholder’s meeting held on Wed in Ikeja convened to sensitise Stakeholders on the reconstruction of Fadipe Street in Somolu.

Dr Salako, who spoke through the PS of the Min, Arc. Foluso Dipe said the existing road would be upgraded to modern infrastructure for the improved aesthetic value of the area, connectivity index & capital value & increased socio-cultural interaction.

“This road reconstruction is in line with the determination of the present administration to provide key infrastructure. This target can be achieved more easily with the cooperation and total support of the citizenry”. He further stated.

Responding on behalf of residents, Mr Anthony Oladele Idowu expressed support for the project, saying it would improve the lot of the people while he urged the Govt to consider speed breakers to reduce speed along the road
