The Commissioner stressed that the selection and installation of traditional rulers in Lagos State follows a legally defined and transparent process, which, in this instance, has not commenced.
He warned those parading themselves as the new Oba to desist or face legal consequences.

Mr. Robert further disclosed that security agencies have been directed to maintain peace and order in the Epe area and to arrest and prosecute any individuals found impersonating the royal stool, in accordance with the Lagos State Law of Obas and Chiefs.
He reaffirmed the commitment of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration to uphold due process, protect the integrity of traditional institutions, and ensure the continued peace and stability of the state.
