Eko Hot Blog reports that, in a strategic move to fortify leadership development within Lagos State, the Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy (LJLA) recently embarked on a collaborative journey with the Lagos State Civil Service Commission (CSC).

The aim is to synergize efforts to foster visionary leadership and enhance the skills of civil servants.
Led by the Executive Secretary, Mrs. Ayisat Agbaje-Okunade, a delegation from LJLA paid a courtesy visit to the CSC Office in Alausa, Ikeja.
The visit was warmly received by Mrs. Olubunmi Fabamwo, Chairman of CSC, and Hon. Hodewu Avoseh, Commissioner IV, signifying a shared commitment to explore avenues of cooperation and the exchange of ideas.
Mrs. Agbaje-Okunade underscored LJLA’s commitment to grooming visionary leaders, emphasizing the need for a collaborative approach with the Civil Service Commission.
The discussion revolved around the creation of tailored training programs designed to meet the specific needs of civil servants. Mrs. Agbaje-Okunade also expressed the intention to raise awareness among civil servants about LJLA’s upcoming activities to ensure maximum participation and benefit.
In response, Mrs. Fabamwo, the Chairman of CSC, highlighted the pivotal role of continuous learning and professional development in driving organizational growth and excellence.
She conveyed the CSC’s readiness to leverage its resources and expertise in supporting LJLA’s efforts to nurture dynamic individuals capable of driving positive change within the civil service.
Mr. Bola Agbabiaka, Director of Policy, Programme, Support, and Monitoring at CSC, commended LJLA’s initiatives and expressed enthusiasm about the potential collaboration.
He emphasized the significance of building a competent and efficient workforce to meet the evolving demands of governance and public service delivery.
