The Nigerian government has reopened then power registration platform for fresh applications. Presidential media aide, Bashir Ahmad made this known via a statement on Friday. “FLASH: N-Power reopens its portal for fresh applications from 11:45pm tonight.” “Interested and eligible applicants should visit https://npower.fmhds.gov.ng/signup for the registration. All the process is completely free!”
2) Senate President States Position On Npower Recruitment Slot
Senate President Ahmed Lawan has stated his position on Npower recruitment. Ekohotblog understands that Senate President denied having allocated Npower slot from the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management. 3) Frustrated N-Power Beneficiary Commits Suicide
One of the beneficiaries of the N-Power scheme – who are due to be disengaged soon by the federal government – has reportedly committed suicide. Though not verified, the volunteer was from Eruwa, Ibarapa East local government area of Oyo State. Reports say he left a note behind saying, “he cannot go back to the competitive labour market after waiting many years to secure Npower stipend job”.
