Leicester City supporters turned their frustration toward the club’s board after a crushing home defeat to Brentford, marking a new low in their Premier League survival battle.
The Foxes suffered their sixth consecutive home loss without scoring—setting a record for the longest such run in top-flight history within a single season—as Brentford cruised to a dominant victory.
Goals from Yoane Wissa, Bryan Mbeumo, Christian Norgaard, and Fabio Carvalho sealed a 4-0 win for the Bees.

Discontent among Leicester fans boiled over, with chants directed at director of football Jon Rudkin and calls to “sack the board” echoing around the King Power Stadium. The atmosphere worsened as the club slumped to a 10th defeat in 11 games, leaving them second-bottom, two points adrift of safety.
Manager Ruud van Nistelrooy has managed just two wins in 13 league matches since his appointment in November, struggling to reverse Leicester’s fortunes.
The Foxes’ home goal drought has now stretched to 75 days, with Jamie Vardy coming closest early on, only to be denied twice by Brentford goalkeeper Mark Flekken.
Wissa’s 17th-minute opener came amid subdued chants for Rudkin’s removal, but the increasing number of empty seats—culminating in a mass walkout after Brentford’s third goal—spoke volumes about the fans’ frustration.
Mbeumo curled in the second in the 27th minute, followed by Norgaard’s header five minutes later as Brentford climbed to 10th place with back-to-back league wins for the first time this season.

The visitors nearly extended their lead before halftime, with Kevin Schade hitting the post and Keane Lewis-Potter’s goal disallowed for handball.
Leicester goalkeeper Mads Hermansen kept the scoreline from getting worse with a fine save to deny Yehor Yarmoliuk in the second half, but substitute Carvalho finally added a fourth in the 89th minute. The win secured Brentford’s first league double over Leicester since the 1952-53 season, leaving the Foxes in deeper crisis.
