[BREAKING] LG Election: PDP Wins 10 LGAs In Plateau, Awaiting Results From 7 More
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has won chairmanship positions in 10 local government areas (LGAs) following the local government elections held on Wednesday, as announced by the Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission (PLASIEC).
PLASIEC Chairman and Returning Officer for all 17 LGAs, Plangji Cishak, disclosed the results on Thursday at the commission’s headquarters in Jos. He noted that results for seven LGAs are still being awaited.

Jos South

Kanam
Qua’an Pan
Langtang South
Meanwhile, the LGAs where results are pending include:
Pankshin
Mangu
Wase
Jos North
Kanke
Bokkos
Langtang North
The election, held across all 17 LGAs and over 300 wards, saw Governor Caleb Mutfwang declare Wednesday a public holiday to boost voter turnout, later extending it to Thursday for the final collation of results.
