Ogundeko’s public expression of support for Saliu’s aspiration is coming on the eve of the APC local government election in Lagos.
In statement issued by Ogundeko and made available to Ekohotblog, he commended the stakeholders for a job well done while also noting that the rotational policy adopted to allow Okemagba zone to complete their two-term in office was the right step to take.
The statement read “The news of the endorsement of the incumbent chairman by the political and traditional institutions in the LCDA is highly commendable.
“We are grateful to the leadership for getting it right this time and for staying idealistic to a long time rotation policy. Okemagba deserves their second term in the office of the chairman of the council after POBO has completed their own two terms through Hon Omolaja,” the statement read.
While stating that governance at the grassroots level is delicate and entail a deep understanding of the people, he, therefore, commended the administration of Hon Adeniyi Saliu for performing beyond reasonable doubts taking into consideration friendly policies and programs in tandem with the rural council.

“There is no doubt that the incumbent chairman has done very well with very friendly policies and programs consistent with rural councils. There is no doubt that he needs to be encouraged for better performance and continuity.
Governance at the grassroots is complex and requires a delicate balancing of local intelligence, knowledge, and deep robust understanding of the people idiosyncrasies in the crafting of policies,”
“I say thank you Sir(s)and kudos to the political leadership and our distinguished Royal Majesties for this great decision.
Eredo a ma da,” the statement read.
