Lockdown: Man Beaten To Death While Buying Food For Pregnant Wife
As the lockdown continues in Lagos and Abuja, to curb the spread of Coronavirus, security operatives are taking it hard on the citizens.
Just yesterday, a man was allegedly beaten to death by men of the Nigerian police force in Abuja for going out to buy food for his pregnant wife.
This made the residents of the area furious at how the Nigerian police now mete out punishment to citizens they ought to protect and guide.
After being caught by the police, he was given chance for explanation, but the police were impatient as they got into a heated argument which sparked rage, they treated him harshly for arguing, beating him severely that eventually led to his death.

Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari had on Sunday evening declared a lockdown in Lagos, Ogun and Abuja.
But Ogun State shifted theirs to Friday, April 3rd 2020 to finalise the mechanism for the distribution of relief materials in order to curb the Coronavirus pandemic.
However, the president exempted food distribution, processing, manufacturing and retail companies from the lockdown.
