Long Time Arch-Rival, Talo Skibo, Finally Submits To MC Oluomo’s Superiority In Lagos NURTW

It was a clear case of he who laughs last, laughs best for the Chairman of the Lagos State Chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Alhaji Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya popularly known as MC Oluomo
A while ago, as a long time arch-rival in the Union, Adedigba Adepegba better known as Talo Skibo, finally bowed to his superiority.

Talo Skibo did not only surrender to MC Oluomo, he also recorded a video of himself speaking to that effect.

But before going into the content of the video which has emerged online, it would nice to first x-ray the kind of rivalry that existed between MC Oluomo and Talo Skibo.

According to findings, both MC Oluomo and Talo Skibo, operated in motor parks within different sections of Oshodi. And each of them knew the limit of their territories until politics came in to set them apart.

While MC Oluomo and his lieutenants in Oshodi were loyal to Alliance for Democracy (AD), Action Congress (AC), Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and ultimately, All Progressives Congress (APC), Talo Skibo and his people were loyal to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

And it was the political patronage from the opposing parties that was reported to had always set them at war path during any election year. Because the leadership of the different parties MC Oluomo on one side, and Talo Skibo on the other side supported would want the unionists loyal to them to deliver the votes in Oshodi to their party.

And in the course of their ploy to achieve the agenda of their political patrons, they would always clash with its resultant bloodshed. And as a matter of fact, it was as a result of such politics that one Alhaji Rasak Bello better known as Hamburger, a close associate of Talo Skibo was murdered in cold blood, at Shogunle, Oshodi, 4 years ago.

And back then, Talo Skibo and his boys alleged that it was MC Oluomo that masterminded the elimination of Hamburger. But unfortunately, MC Oluomo was out of the country to far away United States of America to attend one of his children’s graduation ceremony when the incident happened then. So, there was a missing link in linking him with the dastardly act in Nigeria.

But notwithstanding, Talo Skibo and his boys still staged a protest to Lagos State Government’s Alausa Secretariat then, still trying to link MC Oluomo to the murder, and also alleged that, he, Talo Skibo, was the next in line to be eliminated.

There was so much chaos in Oshodi then, that the State Government had to suspend the activities of the Union in Oshodi at the time, until the State Chairman of the Union then, Alhaji Tajudeen Agbede, waded into the matter and invited both MC Oluomo and Talo Skibo to a peace meeting at their state Secretariat after MC Oluomo returned to the country from his trip abroad.

They both agreed to sheath their swords for peace to reign. But it was still a fragile peace that reigned, as 2 sides kept operating with mutual suspicion for each other in order not to be caught unawares.

So, when MC Oluomo made moves to become the State Chairman of NURTW towards the ending of 2019, Talo Skibo’s caucus was one of those who opposed the move vehemently. Because, they felt if MC Oluomo became the Chairman, they would automatically have to operate under him as their boss.

But unfortunately, MC Oluomo, after the storm of his being stabbed at a political campaign rally towards the ending of 2019 was over, became the State Chairman of the Union. And on assumption of office, Talo Skibo was one of the Unionists stopped from operating at their parks in the course of reshuffling the members of the Union then.

That was said to have been the situation, until couple of days back when some close associates of MC Oluomo prevailed on him to let Talo Skibo return to the park where he was operating, apparently, after they discovered that he had become remorseful, and ready to work under MC Oluomo.

Hence, in the video Talo Skibo recorded, and was subsequently posted online a while ago, he was seen pledging 100% loyalty to MC Oluomo as his boss, saying every allegation he led his people to to peddle about him then, were all lies, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.

He thanked MC Oluomo for his magnanimity in forgiving him, and also thanked MC Oluomo’s associates who made the settlement possible
