According to Mr. Ganiu, his wife had been denying him sex for several months without any clear explanation.
“I was confused and frustrated because she kept avoiding me,” he said. “I never expected to find such a thing in her room. It was shocking and disrespectful.”
Monsurat, however, defended her actions by revealing the underlying reasons for her sexual withdrawal.
She alleged that her husband had repeatedly transmitted sexually transmitted infections (STIs) to her.
“I kept treating STIs without knowing where they were coming from, despite being faithful in the marriage,” Monsurat explained. “I couldn’t continue putting my health at risk.”
The situation took another turn when Monsurat accused her husband of infidelity.
She claimed that Mr. Ganiu impregnated another woman and brought her into their matrimonial home.
“He brought his new wife into our house, and I felt it would be too degrading to compete for his attention,” she stated.
“I refused to sleep around, so I opted for the sex machine to satisfy my needs while he enjoyed his new partner.”
Monsurat expressed her disappointment at her husband’s reaction, noting that she chose the alternative out of respect for her marriage.
“I didn’t want to be unfaithful, and I thought this was the best way to avoid complicating things,” she said.
