Man United: Rangnick Speaks On Greenwood’s Case Affecting Training Plans
EKO HOT BLOG Manchester United interim manager, Ralf Rangnick on Thursday said striker Mason Greenwood’s matter with the Police is not affecting his team’s trainings.
Greenwood, accused by a woman of rape and assault, is under investigation by the Greater Manchester Police. He had been arrested and released on bail.

Speaking to the press ahead of United’s FA Cup fourth round tie against Middlesbrough at Old Trafford slated for Friday, Rangnick commented thinly on Greenwood’s matter: “We had a good normal week of training with five training sessions including today’s training.
“Obviously it was a topic within the team, but they’re all human beings and Mason was part of the group before we had our break,” Rangnick said.
“It was a good week of training, we could train under normal circumstances and we are looking forward to the game tomorrow.”
The club reiterated their stance on Friday that Greenwood would not be playing any part in training or games until further notice.
Their most recent statement reads: “Manchester United reiterates its strong condemnation of violence of any kind. As previously communicated, Mason Greenwood will not train with, or play for, the club until further notice.”
