Ekohotblog reports that decision makers in Manchester United have expressed concerns over appointing former Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte because they feel his style is too similar to Mourinho’s according to UK Telegraph.
Conte is believed to be interested in taking the Manchester United job as he’s presently out of job after his previous spell at Chelsea and Inter Milan.

Manchester United are also looking for a potential replacement for manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after a shameful 5 – 0 defeat at Old Trafford against Liverpool on Sunday.
Although Solskjaer has reaffirmed his interest in still retaining his job after the loss against Liverpool maintaining that he can still turn things around for the Red Devils.
However, members of the united squad seem to have lost faith in the Norwegian questioning his managerial competency and tactical decisions.
Conte is among the leading contenders to replace Solskjaer, but United’s hierarchy are “wary” of his man-management and fear his methods are “too similar” to that of Mourinho.
Solskjaer replaced Mourinho after the Portuguese was sacked in December 2018.
In the months leading up to his exit from Old Trafford, Mourinho was criticized for how he handled several United players, ultimately losing the dressing room with his approach.
Also, during his time at Chelsea, Conte was accused of similar failings particularly during his second season, with many players unhappy with his hardline methods.
Conte also regularly called out Chelsea’s hierarchy in his final season, accusing them of lacking ambition in the transfer market.
