Rasmus Højlund ended a 21-game goal drought as Manchester United cruised to a 3-0 victory over a beleaguered Leicester City side, pushing the Foxes closer to relegation.
The Danish striker, without a goal since 12 December, capitalized on poor defending to open the scoring in the 28th minute with a composed low finish. Alejandro Garnacho doubled United’s lead in the second half, ending his own barren run of 24 matches without a goal. Bruno Fernandes, who assisted both goals, sealed the win with a 90th-minute strike.

However, United’s victory was overshadowed by a concerning injury to young defender Ayden Heaven, who was stretchered off early in the second half during just his second senior start.
The win lifted Manchester United from 15th to 13th in the Premier League, sustaining momentum following their emphatic Europa League triumph over Real Sociedad. For Leicester, the result marked a new low — their 13th loss in 14 games and a seventh consecutive home defeat without scoring, a Premier League record.
Facundo Buonanotte and Jamie Vardy had late efforts, but the Foxes rarely threatened and now sit nine points from safety. Managed by former United star Ruud van Nistelrooy in an interim role, Leicester were booed off by home supporters at the final whistle.
