EKO HOT BLOG reports that a mechanic on a test drive in Aba South Local Government Area of Abia State is said to have killed a couple whose identities are unknown.
Another individual claimed to be in the same mechanic garage as the young mechanic on test-drive was among other passengers in the same commercial tricycle that crashed with a vehicle belonging to one of Aba’s pentecostal churches and was taken to the mechanic workshop for repairs.
Sources allaged that the said mechanic was speeding even when visibility was poor due to the city’s severe rain
The mechanic was claimed to have collided head-on with a commercial tricycle travelling in the opposite direction on Ngwa Road.
A male passenger onboard the commercial tricycle was alleged to have perished on the scene, while his wife died afterwards.

Another passenger was brought to an unidentified private hospital in the city center, where he was claimed to be comatose.
At the time of reporting this report, the deceased had been put in the mortuary, while the injured were still receiving medical attention.
