EKO HOT BLOG reports that speaking in a recent conversation with social commentator Vincent Otse Martins, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, Aloba revealed that he received a call on September 12, 2023, from Mohbad’s mother informing him that the singer had been hospitalised. He said he quickly agreed to meet her so they could visit the hospital together.
However, upon arrival at Osapa London, he was told by Mohbad’s uncle, Darosha, that the singer was already improving and there was no cause for alarm. Aloba said he felt uneasy with the assurances and began to suspect that his son had already died.
Later that evening, Aloba visited Mohbad’s residence, where he claimed he was initially blocked from entering. When he finally gained access, he said he saw a blood-soaked duvet in the room Mohbad used to occupy, deepening his suspicions.
Aloba further alleged that Mohbad’s body was embalmed at home without his consent and that attempts to transfer the body to a morgue were rejected. He also said he was denied access to the police report due to what officers described as a late report of the incident.
He accused Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi, of withholding the doctor’s report, adding that several key details were kept from him in the immediate aftermath of his son’s death.

Mohbad’s sudden death at age 27 continues to raise public questions, with many calling for a full and transparent investigation. No official response has been issued by law enforcement or the family regarding Aloba’s latest claims.
