“Yes, my life got better after Mohbad’s death because he is my friend,” Aloba said. “He had plans to do many things for me, but they didn’t let him. After his death, the spirit of Mohbad and God combined to send people who have been helping me.”
Aloba disclosed that he received gifts such as a car, a truck, and other items from compassionate Nigerians. He described this assistance as extraordinary, attributing it to his late son’s spirit.
He also opened up about the challenges Mohbad faced before his death, claiming that Mohbad’s wife, Wunmi, and her family controlled much of the singer’s property. Aloba alleged that even the land Mohbad bought for him to build a church was taken over after being used for his son’s burial.
Aloba recalled how Mohbad had planned to buy him a house after completing his tour, stating that the payment had already been made before his death.
Reflecting on his journey, Aloba revealed that Mohbad’s birth marked a turning point in his life. After money meant for Mohbad’s naming ceremony was stolen, Aloba became a singer, with Mohbad serving as his backup singer from the age of one.
