“I’m indeed happy to be listed amongst individuals adding value to the country in all spheres of human endeavor.” The comic actor revealed that he had been awarded the Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR) cadre.

In response to individuals urging him to reject the national honour, AY firmly stated his decision not to do so, emphasizing that the award is a symbol of national recognition and pride.
