EKO HOT BLOG reports that in a statement released in Warri, Delta State, Uduaghan, the Alema of Warri Kingdom, said he had initially chosen to remain silent but felt compelled to speak due to recent developments. He described Natasha as his greatest joy and vowed to stand by her.
“I would never trade her for anything,” he said, expressing concern that the controversy was diverting attention from more pressing matters.
Without prejudice to the ongoing legal proceedings, Uduaghan emphasized that his wife was duly elected by her constituents due to the love, respect, and confidence they have in her. He added that she remains committed to delivering quality representation to Kogi Central and the nation.
He described Natasha as a devoted wife and a truthful person, even in difficult circumstances, revealing that she had confided in him about her interactions with Akpabio, whom he once considered a family friend.
“In response, I approached the matter with maturity and responsibility. As a traditional leader who upholds family values and respects authority, I sought to foster peace and harmony,” he stated.
Uduaghan disclosed that he personally met with Akpabio and urged him to treat Natasha with courtesy and respect, while also honouring their friendship. According to him, both parties had agreed to resolve the issue amicably, yet his wife continues to face alleged harassment.

Reaffirming his trust in his wife’s loyalty, Uduaghan called on Akpabio and the Senate to respect Natasha while the relevant authorities and courts address the matter.
