The Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, Otunba-Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, on Monday received in his office the leadership of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Epe Area Command, led by DCN Bashir Magaji, Deputy Commander of Narcotics and Area Commander, Epe.
Eko Hot Blog reports that during the courtesy visit, Commander Magaji congratulated the Chairman on his re-election and called for stronger collaboration with the Agency in the fight against drug abuse.

He appealed for the Council’s continued support, particularly in the area of advocacy and awareness creation.
“Proper education of the younger generation is crucial in preventing drug abuse.
NDLEA remains committed to safeguarding youths, families, and communities from the menace of illicit drugs,” Magaji said.
He also commended the Chairman for his “remarkable developmental strides in Ikosi-Ejinrin.”
In his response, Otunba Anomo reaffirmed his administration’s readiness to support NDLEA’s renewed war against drug abuse and illicit trafficking.
