So, should passengers start searching the engine compartment and tyre tubes of commercial vehicles before they board now?” he wrote.
The video footage, shared by Babafemi, provides a chilling glimpse into the lengths drug traffickers are willing to go to evade detection. It depicts NDLEA officers meticulously inspecting vehicles, revealing the clever concealment methods employed by the traffickers.
In one instance, the video shows drugs hidden within the engine compartment of a vehicle, while another clip reveals the contraband stashed inside the tyre tubes.
Babafemi’s post has sparked a nationwide conversation about the escalating battle against drug trafficking and the innovative tactics employed by those involved in the illicit trade.
The NDLEA’s discovery highlights the agency’s commitment to combating the drug menace and the importance of vigilance and thorough inspections, particularly in the transportation sector.
